HHE in Western Australia + Murdoch University

Description: This is a short presentation done for the first Board of experts meeting of the LeHo project held in Bucharest, alongside the HOPE Congress in November 2014. The presentation has been done by the LeHo Board of Experts associate member for AUSTRALIA, Dorit Maor - Senior Lecturer, School of Education, Murdoch University Western Australia.
Notes: In Western Australia, a group of hospital schools have embarked on a significant reform to introduce hospital-based teachers and their students to mobile teaching and learning technologies. This research examines a professional development program that we have called the pedagogical bridge model that we used in supporting the implementation of this reform.
The research conducted under support for Young and Well CRC and Murdoch university, Australia. The presentation provides the aims of the study and the "Pedagogical Bridge Model" including research questions.
Furthermore plans for a new children´s hospital in Perth are described.
